Skene and Pendo
Use this page when deciding whether you need codeless product guidance, measurement controls around product changes, or both.
Start with jobs, not replacement claims
Pendo is a product-experience platform. Its job is to provide product analytics and in-app guides. Skene makes a product change measurable before launch, computes a verdict from connected evidence after launch, and reviews tracking changes as the code evolves.
Pendo supports codeless tagging after its agent is installed and can analyze interactions that were already captured. Retrospective tagging does not recover an interaction that no collection layer captured. Skene does not create or deliver Pendo-style guides.

Keep Pendo for its own job
Nothing in Skene recreates the category-specific workflows above. Keep the product that answers those questions.
Add Skene at change time
Use Skene when the missing question is whether a change is ready to measure, whether tracking changed before merge, or whether the stated metric moved after launch.
A concrete way to use both
Use Pendo to build guides and analyze captured product behavior. Use Skene to define the activation evidence a change needs, review tracking changes, and compute the later verdict from connected evidence.
GitHub pull-request review and the deterministic plan-versus-scan check remain separate mechanisms. A review can suggest a focused edit;/skene fix only restores tracking a pull request removed. It cannot create an event that never existed.
Continue with current use cases. Retaining or consolidating this URL still depends on search and backlink evidence.
