Maintenance note, 17 September 2026. This page preserves the narrative, attributed statements, date, and media context of a January 2026 company announcement. Funding amounts, traction figures, revenue targets, and unsupported market statistics are omitted under Skene’s current public-disclosure rule. Product descriptions below are historical claims, not evidence of current shipped behavior.

HELSINKI, Finland (January 15, 2026). Skene announced a pre-seed round led by Superhero Capital. The amount and company financial targets included in the original release are omitted from this public rendering.
What the release argued
The original release argued that faster software creation had widened the gap between shipping a product and helping customers reach useful outcomes. It attached precise market, startup, and software-usage figures to that argument. Primary sources for those inputs and their derivation were not preserved with this article, so the figures are not repeated here.
The release described a product direction based on agents reading source code and generating user guidance. That was January 2026 positioning. It must not be read as a current claim that Skene autonomously creates onboarding, adoption, or retention outcomes.
“Skene's approach of analysing actual code rather than just product data is a fundamental breakthrough. Combined with the team being repeat founders and a bold execution timeline, we knew we had to back this team,” said Juha Ruohonen, General Partner at Superhero Capital.
Shen.ai Chief Growth Officer Anna Harris said at the time: “Skene gave us clarity on the jobs to be done and revealed blind spots we hadn't seen before. Something that's often hard to do in the middle of fast execution.” This is a qualitative historical account, not current service verification or quantified proof.
What followed
The original release described planned expansion across the customer journey. Plans in a historical announcement do not establish that those capabilities shipped. Current behavior belongs in current documentation and source-backed product pages.
The founding team named in the release was Teemu Kinos, Teppo Hudsson, and Michele Boggia. Skene Technologies Oy is based in Helsinki; this page does not supply a public street address while the company’s address record remains unresolved.
